Pancake Breakfast
Members and guests 50+ are invited to our annual Pancake Breakfast. For $10, you get fruit, two sausages, and all-you-can-eat pancakes. Proceeds benefit our Art Department.
Sound Bath
Deeply immersive, full-body experience that uses relaxing sound to create a soothing environment. For members and guests 50+. Purchase tickets for $15 at the Front Desk.

Fitness Orientation - Evening
Chart your path to better health and flexibility. During our fitness orientation sessions, you can learn about the equipment in our gym and what it's like to work with a personal trainer. Learn about goal-setting, see equipment demos, and get answers to your questions.
Longevity 101: Colon Health
The March session features OU Health Colon and Rectal Cancer Surgeon, Taylor Wilkinson, MD, who breaks down what it takes to protect digestive health as you age. Dr. Wilkinson will share practical steps to:
Prevent common colon conditions
Recognize warning signs early
Understand screening guidelines
Join us to learn how small lifestyle changes can make a big difference in long-term wellness and lower your risk for colon cancer.
OKC Ward 1 CPSAB Info Session
The Community Public Safety Advisory Board (CPSAB) is hosting an Info Session at Healthy Living OKC to educate residents on policing policies and procedures. The CPSAB is an independent committee that reviews the complaint process and results involving public safety officers.
The session is free and open to the public. Assistant City Manager Jason Ferbrache will moderate a panel discussion featuring Bradley Carter, Ward 1 Councilperson; Greg Grimaud, Ward 1 Community Public Safety Advisory Board member; and Andrea Grayson, Public Safety Partnership’s Implementation Manager.

Longevity 101: Heart Smart After 50
Members and guests 50+ are invited to meet OU cardiologist Dr. Krishnamoorthy as part of our monthly series with OU Health. He'll discuss heart smart tips after 50 and provide tips for lifelong wellness.
Pool Tournament
** Date rescheduled (from Jan. 24) due to winter storm.
Sign up for the 3rd Annual Brian Queen Memorial Pool Tournament. It will be double elimination 8-ball, using BCA call-pocket rules. Women and men of all skill levels are encouraged to participate in this friendly tournament.
Practice play begins before the tournament at 7:30 am. Players should arrive no later than 8 am for check-in, announcements, and blind-draw for bracket placement.
As part of the event, players will collect blankets, jeans, and sneakers for the Homeless Alliance. You can drop off donations Fri., Jan. 23, or the Saturday of the tournament.

Memory Loss - When to Worry?
Where can you go if you have questions about dementia? The Oklahoma Alliance on Aging is again bringing Dr. Germaine Odenheimer to talk about genetics, diagnosis, treatment, and new therapies. The program also allows time for Q&A.

Learn why building a strong relationship with your primary care provider is key to staying active and independent well beyond 55.

We’re closed New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. We’ll reopen Fri., Jan. 2, from 9 am to 8 pm. We’ll return to our regular schedule on Sat., Jan. 3.
REDUCED HOURS
We’ll be open the day after Christmas, though our schedule will be limited. We’ll open at 9 am and close at 3 pm.

Garden Club
HLOKC's Garden Club, Soil Sisters & Misters, will discuss tradition and care of holiday plants. The group will meet on the patio, weather permitting, or in the Boardroom. Snacks are provided.

On Thursday, learn more about it and what you can do when Jessica Fazendin, MD, presents the next installment of Longevity 101. We value our partnership with OU Health and the monthly sessions featuring their physicians on important topics. This program is for members and guests 50+.
4th Annual Writers Book Fair
Meet Healthy Living members who are also published authors. Our Writers Corner group is hosting their 4th Annual Book Fair in the Lobby. See their works and talk with them about their craft. The authors will also sign purchased books.
