OBI Blood Drive

There is no artificial substitute for human blood, and supplies cannot be manufactured. Blood donations save lives. In fact, one donation can save up to three lives. The bloodmobile will be at HLOKC Wed., Aug. 19, for members and friends wanting to donate. Reserve your spot online.

Can you donate if you're over 65? Yes! Provided you're in good health and meet other eligibility criteria.

Can you donate if you take medication? Very possibly! For example, blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol medications typically don’t prohibit a donor from giving. It’s more important that your pulse, blood pressure, and temperature are within an acceptable range before giving blood.
